These past few weeks have been a whirlwind of saying goodbye to the city I’ve lived in for just under 6 years, packing, moving, and locating a place to live. (Dammit New York, they’re not joking about that rental market. One of the starkest differences between New York and Chicago I noticed was SO MANY LESS OPTIONS.)
But, place located, lease signed, and now I’m in a weird limbo space before school starts, torn between wanting to make the most of my last remaining free time for the next two years, and not wanting to spend any money, (what with being in school for the next two years.) That second one might have to give a bit. (YOLO?)
